Manager (Operational Excellence), Banking

As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing medium to large sized projects and teams of consultants while developing the company on its growth path. You will play a key role in acquiring projects, supporting sales efforts, and managing and developing existing client relationships. 

  • Manage several projects under an account or complex project, including mentoring teams of consultants
  • Oversee the implementation and quality control of projects with regards to both budget and content
  • Report project status to senior stakeholders in C-level and manage expectation & communication
  • Conduct interviews and workshops with clients to translate their requirements into well-formulated solutions
  • Acquire projects and/or support the senior management in acquisitions and sales through strong client engagement
  • Accountable for solution topics and responsible to build up team competence
  • Degree holder in Finance, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 6-10 years of experience in banking and/or financial industry, preferably in banking technology project implementation
  • Good understanding of core business processes and products in private banking and wealth management domains
  • Experience in leading a team through an entire project life cycle
  • Experience in sales and project acquisition; network establishments in Hong Kong and Greater China will be a plus
  • Capable of applying technology principles to business
  • Excellent spoken and written English; fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin will be an advantage
  • Highly analytical and structured in problem solving; able to quickly understand complex situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills
  • Intercultural competence and experience of working in more than one country and/or multi-cultural teams
